Adopt a Pet!

From time to time our hospital will have pets that we have rescued and are in need of a new forever home. We pride ourselves in making sure that all of our rescues are healthy, current on immunizations, spayed/neutered, and have as much socialization as possible. Because of our investment in providing the best care possible for these pets that would otherwise have likely not been afforded this level of care, and most definitely continued to contribute to the overwhelming animal over-population crisis that our area suffers from, we do require an adoption fee per pet that we adopt from our hospital. This adoption fee starts at $125. This is a tremendous savings to the new owner and allows us the ability to continue to help future rescued animals in need of medical attention and new homes., Most often,  the pets that come into our care are ill or injured and require medical intervention that far exceeds the cost of the adoption fee. All potential new owners  will be screened to ensure that our adoptable pets find the perfect owner match for their new home.Currently, we have a number of young cats/kittens that are in need of homes.  All of them have been given a comprehensive examination, have been immunized,  treated for intestinal parasites, tested for FIV/FeLV (cats) and heartworms (dogs), spayed/neutered, are litter-box trained, and socialized as much as possible. We require that all cats and kittens adopted from our hospital live as indoor pets at their new homes.

Partnerships

Our hospital currently partners with PetCo in Greenville and Dallas Pets Alive.  After we provide medical care to the pets we rescue and they are deemed healthy, they are either transferred to our local PetCo for adoption (cats only), or fostered for Dallas Pets Alive until they can be adopted.  Currently, we have several adoptable pets available through Dallas Pets Alive. These cuties have stolen our hearts during the time they've spent with us, and our goal is to find the best homes possible for them.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of making one of our rescued pets your new family member! If you or someone you know would like to meet one of the pets we have available for adoption, please visit our Turtle Creek Pets for Adoption event page on Facebook, call our hospital at (903) 454-6222, or email us at info@turtlecreekvmc.com.
